A new year, a new idea.
Lately I’ve been noticing things; how happy my life is, how full it is. I know the rest of the world isn’t so lucky. It’s easy for me to sit in my comfortable home with my healthy, loving husband and ignore the rest of the world. A world that needs help. But I’m tired of turning off the news because it scares me, and I’m tired of feeling like I should be doing something to help, but doing nothing about it.
It feels like it’s time to start giving back, after all, I have enough. More than enough. So I came up with an idea, something simple. I’m offering a different print each month at a discounted price. ALL of the profits from the print sales will go to a select charity at the end of each month.
Easy. Buy some art for your home, give back to a world that needs help. Here are the details of the first art of the month:
Lime Kiln Lighthouse, San Juan Island, WA.
Printed on heavy canvas, with wrapped edges. Ready to hang. Measures 35″L X 21″H X 1.5″W

Casa de Milagros (Home of the Miracles)
Casa de Milagros is a home for orphaned children in Peru. It’s a very loving, holistic community that heals and educates beautiful, abandoned Peruvian children. I was lucky enough to visit last time I was there. I was horribly sick, so I didn’t take any photos. (I’m still kicking myself for that one) I’m not a fan of long blog posts, so you can read all about it by going here: CASA DE MILAGROS
You can also watch a video that my beautiful mother sent me by going [ HERE ] Please watch it, it’s 8 minutes long, but really inspiring.
If this print doesn’t speak to you, I will offer a different photograph (either on canvas or print) and a different charity to donate to each month. So check back often.
Happy New Year everyone!!
Jess - Kim! This is an awesome idea, a great way to give back. I can’t wait to see what each print will be over the course of the next 11 months.
Gina - What an amazing idea. Makes me wish I had something to sell. I guess I will just have to buy instead. :)
Heather - Kim, that is such a great idea! I’m definitely looking forward to seeing the new prints and charities each month…and looking for one to buy!

Marie Patton - Thank you so much for your king and giving heart!!! this will truly make a difference in the lives of the children here in Peru.
kathie heidenreich - Hi Kim,
The artwork is beautiful. Thank you for your donation. Not sure
if you know the Casa now has a US board of directors. Our responsibility is to continue to raise funds on behalf of the
orphanage, so that Marie and Allen can focus on raising and feeding the children and not have to worry about where the money
is going to come from. I’d love to have you continue to work
with us. Please feel free to contact me at your convenience
at email@example.com. Check out our Blog at Casademilagros.wordpress.com for continued updates.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
