I love small and intimate ceremonies!  Nothing is quite as special as a couple declaring their love for each other in front of their closest family members.  They invited a grand total of 10 guests, I came in at number 11.  It was such a warm + beautiful day, and by the end of it I felt like part of the family.

The ceremony was held overlooking Mt. Rainer at the Seattle Tennis Club, followed by some portraits at Volunteer Park, and then dinner at The Herbfarm.  If you haven’t been to the Herbfarm, I would highly suggest checking it out if you have a special occasion coming up.  They give a tour of their garden (which was spectacular!) and you get to taste the different flowers and herbs that will later be served in your 9 course dinner. I didn’t have dinner that night, but I did have some sort of herb infused water.  I’m pretty sure it was the most delicious water I have ever tasted. (or maybe I was really thirsty, not sure which it was)

Laura + Kyle, thanks for making me your 11th guest. ♥

I hope you’re ready for a big one!  I know I’m notorious for posting sneak peeks, and then never following up with the full blog post.  Part of it’s because a good blog post takes me almost a full day of work, and the other part I blame on the writing that it requires.  It’s so hard for me to wrap up someone’s wedding day in a few sentences without sounding totally cheesy.  I catch myself using the words “awesome,” “amazing,” and “gorgeous” way too much, but truthfully every wedding I shoot is amazingly awesome and gorgeous in it’s own way.   I also have an increidbly hard time narrowing down my choices to 20 or so photos.  I feel so attached to the images after many hours of shooting and post processing.  Each one is special to me and I hope they are special to the recipent.  This summer is shaping up to be fantastic, and I can’t wait to share more images from all the weddings that I have been so privileged to attend.  Okay, I’ll get on with it.

On the first nice day of the year, Ashley and Hannes got hitched at a charming country location just outside Leavenworth.  The sweet sounds of the Dusty 45’s filled the air as family and friends celebrated.  It was a super awesome and amazingly beautiful day!  Congratulations you guys!

Thanks to my 2nd shooter extraordinaire, Keri Pinzon, for providing me with constant support, friendship, and awesome images!!
