I know, I know.  I’ve been ignoring my blog lately.  I think it’s part of what I do this time every year; hibernate!  Winter around here is the time where I rejuvnate, take vacations, and scheme up new ideas.  Truthfully, the blog takes a back seat because I’m  avoiding my computer like the plague!  I could shoot all day everyday, and not get tired of it.  It’s the computer work that really gets me down.  I have tons of personal work sitting on my hard drive just waiting for the day that I decide to work on it…

Well, maybe it’s the new look that I’ve been working on around here that’s got me motivated, but I’ve decided to make a promise to my blog readers: fresh new blog posts every Monday and Thursday morning!  So be sure to check back twice a week to see some new work.

And  in case you are interested, I’ve got a fresh site up: KIMHAYESPHOTO.COM

I’ve decided to concentrate on big images that load fast, and to cut out all the extra stuff on my website + blog.  It’s all about the photos, right?  The new site is iPhone compatiable, which is super important these days.  Most of the sites I look at lately are from my iPhone.

Be sure to check back Monday morning for a new post!  Here is another shot of the beautiful Eman from last weekend:

  • Deann B. - I LOVE IT!! Everything looks so clean… it makes your images POP off the page! Great job, lady!

  • Jess - Love the new site Kim! Milo is just begging to be in your “Dogs” gallery!!

  • melia - fracking fantastic! you’ve made me all excited about the Click of my Booq again. Looks so good!

  • Gina - So excited for Monday’s and Thursday’s! Love new blog posts and all the great pictures.

Jessica and Will got married on a rainy Seattle morning in September.  It was a very intimate + cozy event, with the rain pausing just enough to snap a few frames outside.   Their closest friends and family gathered to witness their vows, and then huddled around the espresso stand to drink special coffee drinks.  (I think I had something like 6 shots of espresso that day!)  I really try not to use this word very often, but there is only one word to describe Jessica + Will together: CUTE!!  (I guess adorable would also fit the bill-see the dancing sequence below)

I’m working on their album now, and thought I would share some favorites.
