You might remember my previous post on our road trip to Moclips, WA. It was a ton of fun, and it was to document Valerie + Jeff’s wedding day. Valerie really wanted a wedding in Hawaii, but due to circumstances out of her control, she couldn’t. The couple decided on Sunset Beach in Moclips, WA. If it wasn’t for the dense fog, it sure would have felt like Hawaii. Valerie pulled out all the stops with every little bit of Hawaii she could come up with; steel drum band, tiki torches, flip flops, leis, and all!! She loved planning weddings so much, she started her own business, A Vibrant Wedding by Valerie. Check it out HERE. Thanks to Casey for rockin’ this one with me!!

Here is a peak at Kara + Steve’s portraits from their wedding on 9.6.08. These two were so into each other, they barely noticed the crazy girl with the camera! ;)

In other business, I’m click-clacking away over here in my office. If your wedding was in September, you will see your photos by mid-late October (think 30 days from your wedding date). Thanks for being patient!

While we didn’t start a revolution, or ride 8 thousand miles across South America on a Motorcycle in hopes of experiencing the world…

we sure covered a lot of San Juan Island on our little mopeds. There were no lepers or social injustice on our ride, just beautiful landscapes and the wind in our hair.

Casey + I spent a weekend on San Juan Island last weekend. After photographing a wedding, we spent a little time enjoying the last bits of summer.

And if you haven’t seen The Motorcyle Diaries (my favorite movie OF ALL TIME!) Get out there and rent it!
