Hello Friends!

I know it’s been awhile since my last post. Things are in full swing over here at KHP! This summer is chock full of lots of fun weddings I hope to share with you soon. Unfortunately the blog occasionally takes a back seat while I hurry to deliver the final product to my clients. Sometimes I get a chance to blog a wedding, and sometimes there just isn’t enough hours in the day. But until I get another chance, here is a little sneak peek at Lauren + Ackerly’s engagement session.

Hope to see you soon!

♥ K

I’ll be playing tourist for the next couple of weeks.  Any print or album orders placed between May 9th-May 26th will be processed when I return.  I will have limited access to phone and email and will return all message as soon as I can.  Until then, enjoy these photos of my sweet Pip.  She’ll be holding down the fort while we are gone, but since she lacks opposable thumbs, her email response will be slow.  I must say she is probably the cutest dog in the world.  Ciao!

  • aga - that is just toooooooo cute!

  • kim - is it weird that i’d love to have photos of your dogs decorating my walls? these are always way too cute.

  • lucas mobley - YES!!!

My Friend Matt Larson came up with an awesome idea to help Japan; a silent art auction, with all of the proceeds going to the Red Cross!  The silent auction goes all month, so if you can’t make it opening night you have another 30 days to stop by and make a bid. There are 33 original works of art that have been donated! I donated a framed print of “Second Beach” for the auction:

“Join us for an art auction featuring over 18 artists from Seattle, Vienna, Austin, Brooklyn, San Francisco, and Oklahoma. All work by these amazing and dynamic artists and photographers has been donated and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the Red Cross for Japan. The silent auction will last for a whole month beginning and ending on the night of the Capitol Hill art walk. If you’ve been watching the dire situation and have been trying to figure out a way to help, why not make a donation and end up with a piece of original art in the process? Opening and closing nights will feature all night happy hour as well. Hope to see you there!”

Wow!  I can’t believe it’s November 1st already!  It’s been an entire month since my last blog post, shame on me.  I just wanted to say hi and let you know I’m working hard on making albums, finishing up weddings, and working on something special that I hope to share with you soon.  October was awesome and was mostly spent on the road with my hubby.  We drove down the California coast, all the way to Arizona, and back up through Mammoth Lakes, CA.- visiting family and friends along the way.  We didn’t make it to San Diego (my hometown), but I hope to make a trip down there soon…

I hope to have some new posts up soon!

  • Keri Pinzon - Hurray!

  • rhys - really looking forward to seeing what youve been shooting

Hello!

Please note that I will be out of the office from Oct.1-Oct.19.  All print and album orders placed during that time will be processed on Oct.20th.  Thanks for your patience!  There will be TONS of new personal work to share when I get back, along with some fabulous weddings from the summer that I didn’t have time to blog about before my departure.  I will have some email access, but phone might be the best way to get  in touch with me…

Pip will be holding down the office while I’m away.
